God, I'm addicted to this site.

Job interview was odd. I think they're looking for someone with more experience than a graduate, but then again, they don't really know what they are looking for, since they haven't decided what language the new app is going to be written in. Kinda hope they don't offer me the job, cause I'll take it, and I'm not sure if I can do it.

You've got experience though, don't you? Like from before you went back to school? You could always... you know... fudge it a bit... It doesn't matter if you can't do the job, you're smart, you'll learn by doing. Goodness knows I've taken many jobs like that - like my current one.

I guess, it's just that it's a small IT department (only two people at the moment), so when it comes to building the new application, there would be a steep, steep learning curve. And they are interviewing people with experience too. Plus, there's PC support, and I could probably fudge my way through that, but again, no experience at it :)

PC support is a piece of piss, you coudl do that in your sleep. "Have you tried rebooting?" "Have you checked your machine is plugged in?" "Have you tried rebooting?" "Eject the disk in the A drive then hit any key" "Have you tried rebooting?" "You didn't save anything before it crashed? No, I can't help you, next time, hit the bloody save button!" "Just reboot that damned machine!" etc etc etc
