BSB on MTV Live, 1998 - It's Nick's 18th birthday (and he's wearing glasses!), AJ's wearing leather gloves, and Howie, Brian and Kevin are competing for Worst Hair (Howie wins).

In "it's nice to see" news, starafar has a little paparazzi clip of Kevin and Howie out together last weekend here.

In "oww, my heart" news, canadiankracka reposted this message from Kaci Brown (AJ's girlfriend). It's from her message board, she was asked if AJ and the Boys were still close with Kevin.

Of course they're still close.
We watched EVERY video they ever made for like four hours the other day... He cried so hard.
He's hurt. He know's it will never be the same.
He understands and all, but he doesn't like it.
I don't think any of them do.

Once I stopped clutching my chest in pain, I wondered to Lex about what kind of lame-ass Backstreet video collection AJ has, cause we've got like 4 days worth of videos. Yeah yeah, I'm dead inside.

I *heart* this footage, I'm glad it's being shared. It's so very pretty, vocally as well as visually and there's leather and glasses and AJ's cell phone rings on air and people throw money at them and it's all good... *sigh*

It's funny - no matter how annoying I find Carson, I still find him more watchable than the people I see on MTV at the moment (when you can find a music show, which isn't often).

People have suggested that she meant music videos, which could make sense for the time. It makes me sad (to think he doesn't have more BSB footage - there's so much good stuff that you're in AJ!)
