I've been having a indulgently lazy morning watching Jensen Ackles be gorgeous.
What a shame that Dark Angel got axed at the end of season two - the latter part of it was the most interesting the show had ever been. I started off basically watching for Jensen, but really enjoyed the last few episodes.
veronamay, I know you said they were crap, but do you have the tie-in novels?
Alec finding out more about Ben was good, and a bit more detail from Max's sister-clone adds to the angst of what happened to Alec after Ben and the others got away.
I was delighted that we saw Normal find out about the transgenics at Jam Pony in general, but his reaction to Alec was even more awesome. And he delivered the baby, and isn't a fuckwit anymore, awwwww.
But we didn't get to see Logan finding out that Max/Alec was a crock, so why were they holding hands at the end? At least we saw Alec find out ("I won't be the bad guy" - could I love him more? don't think so). Meanwhile, I liked the whole "group voting to make a stand and raising their flag" ending, cause I like corny stuff like that.
And if anyone knows of a story where Max and Logan want to have children but aren't fertile together, so they ask Alec to be the biological father, could you point me in that direction? Not that it's for me. A friend wants to read it. I'm not into those sort of wacky antics at all.
Actually, story recs in general would be much appreciated :)
