I gotta wish Happy Birthdays to sinden and not_nele! Hope you both have great days :)

Just got back from the first afternoon major rugby match I've been too in a long time (since they all changed to evening games - better for the ratings). But I guess they thought trying to get everyone to and from the Sydney Football Stadium on the same night as Mardi Gras would be a little...trying *g*.

NSW spanked the Sharks, 31-16, though a lot of the match was kinda blah. The Waratah's tries were amazing though, especially one scored right in front of us in the corner - how they managed to keep the ball in play I really don't know. And it was great to see Mat Rogers back on the field.

My major fandom is still definitely pop, Backstreet and Nsync, though the content around here lately might not reflect my dual love so much *g*. Ain't getting rid of me anytime soon. Hell, all that discussion about AJ's solo album and touring collided in my head with thoughts about JC's album and touring had me looking during the week at airfares to the US and pondering (pretty much a pipedream at this stage, even more so from timing than money, but you never know...)

I enjoy SGA a lot, for both the show and fanfic, though the second half of the second season left me uneasy. I've gotten back into SG1 this season and have been really enjoying it, though I don't tend to go looking for fic.

I watch House, and read stories when I see them rec'd or people I know write them, I'm not really actively involved in the fandom, but enjoy the occasional story.

I adore Veronica Mars, and read even less fic for it - the show is so good but doesn't really leave me needing much of a fanfic fix for it.

Am getting into Supernatural, but can't see myself being hugely involved in the fandom (though I've already read a couple of good gen stories). The focus for most people I know is Sam/Dean, and I'm not interested. Though I did almost get a plot bunny for Five Things That Never Happened to Dean Winchester, but I stalled at like two and a half, and I suspect it's been done before.

The more I watch, the less I'm interested in the incest and/or smut and the more I am in just the brothers or the family as a whole.
