Happy Birthday Brian!

Happy 31st Birthday, Brian. Seriously, after seeing him live, I'm an even bigger fan than I was before. He's so sweet and funny and goofy and silly and while I knew these things, I didn't know how you can't take your eyes off him for a moment when he's on stage in front of you, because you're gonna miss something.

It's the way he loves his wife and little boy.




And the way he love these Boys. Watching him sing "I Still" to each of them was a definite highlight.




There are tons of better pics out there, I was sentimental and used my own *g*.

It's his love of singing, and his incredible voice (see, the others agree too).


And his even more incredible goofiness and the way he enjoys himself.






And that he wore the Sphynkter tour shirt!



I hope he has a great time in the year ahead with his solo album (due out May 2nd, according to Brian), and (hopefully) future projects with the Boys.

I'm not sure why our leg was the only part of the tour who got them, but I bought one as soon as I saw it *g*. Now I've just got alter it, cause the medium turned out huge on me.

I was looking for a good one of him singing when I came across that - I hadn't looked through some of these pictures since I saved them, and it just made me smile so much. As does Brian's smile, it's completely irresistible.

I only really knew anything about the Boys from stories before I saw them live, and...well, Brian's kind of different in real life, isn't he? Much less evil and humourless, for example. Now I love him muchly. :-)

It really is the most bewildering characterisation ever. Evil!Kevin I can vaguely understand (from people who've seen virtually no footage or something), cause he can be so bitter and angry at times (plus, the eyebrows!). But evil!Brian? Where do they get this stuff?

No, I didn't take it, its from the North American tour (not sure when/where). I'd guess it'd be from the beginning of Drowning though, just from the way they are sitting on the stairs :)
