Well, there was some good banter, and prettypretty Lorne is safe, and Ronon is hot, and Teyla had a new top, and there were parts of the episode where Weir didn't bug me. Also, there's always a chance of Kolya coming back, killing him off-screen would be a waste.

On the other hand, I am seriously considering that sometime during this season, perhaps just after the mid-season break (or after Epiphany, I'm not sure), that all the major characters fell down and hit their heads very very hard. How dumb are they?

Ok, it wasn't quite up there with "let's hand our bodies over to unknown aliens" or "getting involved in a landwar in Asia succession struggle" or "torturing people with no evidence" stupid, but while I like these characters, the stupidity burns.

However, "That's Lt Colonel Errand Boy to you" nearly made me fall out of my chair! And Rodney trying so hard to be all competently military was so cute.

In other news, we watched more S1 Farscape tonight as well. Oh, I love that I'm finally watching this show properly.

The news about Challenge makes me sad, especially as even though I will definitely travel to the US/Canada again and hopefully meet up with some of my friends, it was such a marvellous time as well as being a large gathering point. I think I'm mostly mourning that, I'm numb to other implications at the moment. Frankly though, the organisational issues were such that I think moving away from the CFTC system is probably for the best in many ways though, I can see that being a perfectly valid reason, apart from anything else.

Thank you! :) And yes, more travel is definitely on the cards, even without CFTC.
