No soundcheck for me

Apparently the winners of Australian soundcheck passes have been sent out. And I failed in not getting my hopes up about it, cause I'm pretty down that I didn't. Maybe I'm psychic and my depression last night (random weepiness and insomnia, what fun) was actually in anticipation of this?

Anyone have better luck than me? Hopefully someone I know will get to go.

And, don't give up, if you're willing to sit around and wait. When we were in Kitchener, they had extra wristbands that they gave out to some of the people hanging around, right before soundcheck began. So, you know, you could always try.

Just join in the queue to go into soundcheck like you have tickets, and Marcus (it's always Marcus, I don't know why) will have to relay the number of people without passes back to the Powers That Be for X number of wristbands to get the people waiting around in. You won't end up near the front, but at least it's soundcheck.

Dood, if you feel like that and you want to chat or something, give me a call. I think we all do the random insomnia/crying thing now and then. I don't sleep much. What with the insomnia. So I don't mind if you wake me up.

Not that I even know what the soundtrack thing is, but I can make sympathetic noises. Or offer food. Not over the phone I guess, but you could always listen to me chew.

Actually, I think the Asian soundchecks sound like the fairest - everyone enters by a certain time so they can have a list of all the interested fanclub members, and pick from that. Better than emailing at a specific time or only from presale purchases, really.
