random thoughts on Grace Under Pressure
Dec. 13th, 2005 09:35 pmHello, Amanda (and her post-baby figure)! She's looking good.
We got the lost!Sheppard ep two weeks ago, now the lost!McKay episode (and they were both so desperate to find each other, awwww). Of course, Sheppard refuses to leave anyone behind, but still, sweet.
It's also McKay's turn to have trust issues, though this time its with Zelenka. But at the same time, his subconcious wanted to believe his team was coming for him. Awww. Speaking of his subconscious, I'd heard Carter was going to pop up on SGA, but not how (until I accidentally spoilt myself 5 minutes before getting the ep, ooops). My sister and I were killing ourselves laughing during a lot of the McKay/Carter scenes.
I was hoping that the 'whale' would turn out to be something even more plot device-ish, thus confirming my suspicions that the writing staff have read
merryish's fiction *g*.
I can't believe they stuck David in water again! I only listened to the commentaries on The Storm and The Eye the other week, and now I want to listen again and laugh. A lot.
It was pretty much a gift ep for fans of McKay, Sheppard and Zelenka (and various pairing permutations thereof).
Good filler ep, David acted his socks off.
