I'm slightly late with some of these I think, but this is the first chance I've had to wish a very happy birthday to
mickeym
althea5000 and
charliequinn! Hope you all had wonderful days :)
And thank you to everyone who posted about their experiences with BSB tickets and the fanclub presales :) It worked out pretty well for us, hopefully. crosses fingers and toes
Had a fabulously relaxing day with
engenda yesterday, watching sparkly footage and attempting to brainwash her into loving the Boys hanging out (plus encouraging her to spend money on gadgets *g*). Today, I saw Kiss Kiss Bang Bang with
iibnf, and we were dying of laughter. What a wonderful, funny and clever film. I've never liked Val Kilmer or Robert Downey Jr nearly as much, and the lead actress Michelle Monaghan was great too (her character was interesting and resourceful). If anyone can point us towards the slash that must exist for this film, we'd be very grateful *g*.
Then
iibnf showed me half of Scanners 2 (starring a young David Hewlitt), before I had to run away go to a housewarming for some school friends. Sadly, the best conversation was outside with the smokers, so I now stink. But they were people who appreciated jokes based on the geek hierarchy, eating babies and the use of the word younglings in Star Wars.

Date: 2005-11-28 04:55 am (UTC)I went to see that today as well and I totally agree. It was such a fun and funny movie. Robert Downey was brilliantly petty-thiefy, Val Kimer just rocked as kick-ass Gay Perry, and I liked how Michelle Monaghan played resourceful but totally not making it.
