wailing wind and random footage

Wow, sometimes the weather forecasts are spot on. It got quite warm this morning, then at lunchtime a southerly change hit hard. Temperature dropped sharply, and the wind was incredible. At about 12:30 I was upstairs to a eastern-facing classroom (we can see the Harbour Bridge and CBD from there), and the way the trees were whipping around, and the sound of the wind around the building was intense. When I left at two and drove home, I could feel my car shaking in the wind.

I was checking out pictures of BSB in Lisbon at Blog do Nick, fairly random stuff (Kristin's stunning, Kevin and Kristin standing around while Howie's playing with his phone, stuff like that), but then I came across this.

Joey and Lance and Mandy Moore and Howie's boyfriend[1] and some other people. I have a fair bit of fondness for this song, in all it's cheesiness :)

My preferred way of watching the Pussycat Dolls perform *g*. From an MTV Diary I think, it has a bit of Big Spender and Thirteen Men.

During the Celebrity tour, and their last appearance on her show, as it ended soon after. Fun interview, and Nsync or Swim vs fans is a hoot.

That's about the only time I get nervous, when the wind blows so hard, the heavy stuff shakes. I'm fairly solid, so it takes a bit for me to have to fight the wind. I'd like to think that myself inside a vehicle that easily outweighs me should be adequate protection. That rattling breeze is unsettling.

I'm surprised impressed that the weather people got it right for once.
