more randomness
Sep. 13th, 2005 06:03 pmSounds like the BSB concert in Ottawa was a lot of fun :)
lucylooo posted about it here and
simplybeing here.
My economics test this afternoon was significantly harder than I was expecting (especially since he'd virtually told us what each question was going to be on), but somehow I managed to get 98% on the freakingly annoying essay I handed in last week. I'm still in shock over that.
I really want to vege out and do a serious SGA marathon sometime soon. All of S2 so far, maybe, I've only seen most of them once, and/or highlights of S1. Preferably with company. I can't wait for my holidays (I've got two weeks off, starting in a week and a half), I've got so much to get done, both school stuff and other crap (like my tax return - must. not. forget).
I got tagged by
deliberatehips and
trumpeterofdoom for this, but lost track of how long it took me, so won't be tagging anyone in return :)
Twenty random facts about me (hope they weren't supposed to be unknown or interesting):
1. I met Joss Whedon on Sunday! (oh, like I wasn't going to mention that *g*).
2. This is the first time since I was sixteen that I haven't had blonde streaks/highlights/something in my hair. This is also the darkest my hair has ever been in my life.
3. I had an imaginary pet dolphin when I was three.
4. I don't read many romance novels of any other sort, but I adore Georgette Heyer's novels.
5. I believe that Richard III didn't kill his nephews, and that it was probably Henry VII who did.
6. I've never played a poker machine (slot machine) ever. Even when I was in Vegas.
7. I can recite chunks of dialogue from Return of the Jedi.
8. I can identify most episodes of MASH in under 30 seconds.
9. A picture exists of tiny!plastic!NickCarter in my cleavage.
10. I once fell asleep at the hairdressers when they were washing my hair (I was jetlagged!)
11. My all-time slashiest pairing ever is still Jim and Blair from the Sentinel. Say what you will about the show (and who hasn't!), they were so so married.
12. I've never seen Citizen Kane - I tried but gave up out of boredom.
13. It's been 9 months, but I still miss my kitty.
14. I've lived in the same house my entire life.
15. I'd love to try making a songvid, but it looks like way too much work.
16. I use Photoshop a bit, but have no brushes nor know how to use them.
17. Chips and dip are a major food weakness - once I start I can't stop.
18. I played the flute for three years, but sucked. Not practicing very much might have been part of that.
19. I once went back to our hotel room early (we were skiing), fell asleep, and locked my family out of our hotel room (I had the only key). I didn't hear them banging on the door or yelling, and they had to get a staffmember with a master key. And then I still didn't wake up when they got into the room.
20. It's unpatriotic as hell, but I'm kind of glad that England won the Ashes. It's a much needed boost to cricket, and a good kick in the ass for the Australian team. Congratulations, England.
Nsync on The View files are coming down soon, so grab if you haven't and want to.
Last but certainly not least - Happy Birthday to the queen of AJ trivia and sharer of BSB squee,
trumpeterofdoom! Not only does your fannish enthusiasm for the sparkly boys never fail to make me smile, you're a lovely person, and I'm glad I'm getting to know you :)

I can recite chunks of dialogue from Return of the Jedi.
*gazes at you in awe* So. Cool. ^.^ I can only assume you mean without the prompting of the movie? ^.^; Oooh, are they really long chunks? Like more than a minute/four lines? Cuz that would be even cooler. ^.^
I can identify most episodes of MASH in under 30 seconds.
... ^.^; I can only do that for a few episodes. I'm much better at the simple "Have I Seen this One Before" game, but there are actually episodes I haven't even seen.... ^.^;
19. ...um. *tries to contain her snickers* Um. ^.^ Your poor family. ^.^; In your defense, you must have been bloody tired kthnxbye. ^.~
Even your random facts are interesting. You're making life Hell for the rest of us, you know, making us all look boring and commonplace. ^.~
