Backstreet Boys are SPACE GODS who rise every 1000 years to wage war!Kevin kills teenies while wearing war paint. AJ wears a crop top. Nick needs to wash his hair.

They are naughty naughty Boys who are getting punished. Or there are only two members of BSB, Howie and the one with disassociative identity disorder and severe delusions. Or...well, the possible interpretations are myriad, but one thing remains constant - Nick and Howie have sex (or do they?)

+ We've Got It Going On (live) - 7 meg
a capella, with Kevin beatboxing!!!

+ Get Down (live) - 16 meg
I warned that I loved Get Down performances, so have another one! No sweatervests in this one. Brian cracks up at one point. Watch AJ's and Howie's hips during AJ's rap, guh.

+ BSB in Hawaii part 1 - 17 meg
+ BSB in Hawaii part 2 - 15 meg
BSB and bonus baby!Aaron. Playing at the beach, wearing ugly shirts, posing for a gay pirates photoshoot, Brian plays a ukelele. They're unknown in the US at this point, so they wander around and don't get bothered.

+ Rosie 1998 - Interview - 32 meg
Their first interview (but not appearance) on the Rosie show. Usual sort of stuff - wacky fan encounters, Brian's heart problems etc but its a nice interview and Nick is wearing his glasses!

+ Black and Blue webcast - 233 meg asf file
This B&B concert was webcast by Yahoo from Dallas on August 31st 2001. Good quality (a few issues, and the sound balance isn't the best at times), 108 minutes long. Far too many good bits to mention (like Nick and Howie and the balloon, Kevin and AJ during the box skit, Nick draped all over Brian, AJ talking about his butt, them all fighting over the mirror, Brian being an adorable dork...hell, all of them are at one point or another, AJ and Kevin singing to each other at the end, then AJ tickling Kevin, then Nick playing with AJ, then Howie pushing his way in between them to tickle Nick etc etc). There's even some pretty spiffy singing and dancing too.

+ Rosie 2000 - Backstreet Blitz - 34 meg
They play a game against a group of fans, answering BSB trivia. THEY SUCK! Hysterical footage, especially the question about Nick's band.

+ MTV Bytesize - 8 meg
Kevin demands caffeine as they do take after take of Nick trying to say documentary. You trying saying it correctly after watching this, bet you can't.

+ Nick on minibike - 0.5 meg
Cute little clip of Nick riding a tricycle (recent-ish footage).

Bad pictures = GOOD CRACK! How can you not like bad pictures?! In that first one we've got a lovely side profile of AJ's face, and Kevin's being the dork he is. And in the second one Howie is straddling Brian and AJ and HOW COULD THERE BE ANY BAD IN THAT?!

It took me a while to fall for Brian. I blame crackedout evil!Brian and judgemental!Brian characterisations in fic (mostly crossovers written by Nsync-only fans *g*).

*nods* The only thing that I blame is Jae W's 'Cold-Hearted,' which, incidentally, portrays all but Brian in good light (and made me adore Nicky). It wasn't that Brian was evil that made me hate him but that he broke Lance. It was powerful stuff.

I'm glad I know better now. I totally would've missed out. Though you know what I *would* love to miss out on? His incessant, "I have a wife now"/"I have a baby boy now." Yes, Brian. We *know.* And those who don't need to get their fancards revoked.

Huh, I'd forgotten about that one. You're right; it does have Brian (and all of the Boys) in a rather negative light but I think that the times I'd read the story, it already didn't matter because I was already negatively disposed towards them.

Regardless though, I'm now FREE of the burden, yay! :D

Some of the pictures can indeed be labeled as "unfortunate" - the one with Brian in a plaid suit comes to mind :-) - but some are not too bad! The last one for example. Nothing wrong with boys in black leather pants :-)
