Cause sometimes I'm just can't see someone say they'd like to see more Backstreet footage and not do something *g*. Inspired by [livejournal.com profile] jewelianna and [livejournal.com profile] glendaglamazon and [livejournal.com profile] addictedkitten (hopefully they can download them soon!).

It started off with discussion of early Boys footage. Then I just started to upload anything that caught my eye. You can't leave me unsupervised doing things like this, people! Most of these I've posted before at some point.

+ We've Got It Going On - 23 meg
Their first video. Wearing matching impractical outfits while singing a self-referential song - is there anything better?

+ Get Down (live, Viva Comet) - 18 meg
From 1996. One of many great live performances of Get Down, they may be fully clothed (and looking rather like waiters, I remember someone saying), but they manage to flash some skin anyway. Oh how I love early performances of Get Down.

+ Let's Have a Party (live at Wembley) - 17 meg
From 1997. There are overalls and gloves and racing outfits. AJ bumdances. The camera loves Nick. Brian shows some skin. Nick and Howie pat each others stomachs in passing.

+ 10,000 Promises (live) - 21 meg
From the "A Night Out" dvd, I love this performance, the song is so much better live than the cd version. This is a lovely concert, and this is one of my favourite bits.

+ AJ and Howie shopping - 24 meg
From the Disney concert. Completely adorable. Howie doesn't want to wear women's clothes, but he likes to watch AJ spend money.

+ Don't Want You Back (live) - 9 meg
A bootleg from the Millenium tour. A must see for the footage of Kevin and Nick (but especially Kevin) during the poledancing. Guh.

+ Radio Music Awards 2000 - 11 meg
The Boys were hosting, but my favourite bit is where they win this award, beating (amongst others) Nsync. Then things go wrong, much to Lance's amusement. (Ha, I threatened crossovery footage).

+ Live at Much 2001 - nekkid one - 3.6 meg
I don't know how often I've posted this clip, but dammit, it remains one of my favourite bits of Boys footage. And it seems especially fitting, since I saw the sad news in [livejournal.com profile] lucylooo's journal that Rick is leaving Much. One of my favourite BSB fans ever answers a question (to win a prize) in a unique way.

+ Get Another Boyfriend - 18 meg
From the CBS "Larger than Life" tv concert in 2001. This was one of the first BSB performance clips I ever saw, and helped get me interested. Punish that coat, Nick.

+ TRL UK - eating each other - 14 meg
Some of my favourite footage from the 2005 promo appearances. Strangely enough, this isn't the first interview I've seen where they get asked about who they'd eat if they had to resort to cannabilism (and yet I've never seen Nsync get asked this - let's all take a moment to ponder that...) but it is completely adorable. Nick has such a girly squeal.

Then I really got carried away, and started making zip files of some groups of small clips.

+ Making of As Long As You Love Me - 7.3 meg
Brian censoring Howie, playing with Nick's hair, and Nick and Howie being cute.

+ Making of Shape of My Heart - 8.8 meg
Them all mocking each other, Brian breakdancing, piano playing and Nick and Howie making out being completely adorable (and there is kissing).

+ Around the World - 30 meg
6 fun clips from the dvd of their trip around the world in 100 hours to promote Black and Blue. Includes Howie's fear of chapstick, AJ wearing a bra, and the OTP of OTPs in Backstreet fandom - Kevin and the plane.

+ OLFC - 38 meg
Just a few of my favourite videos from the old fanclub files. Six files - revisiting their early days, behind the scenes on the first Drowning video, Nick licking Howie, Brian talking about being mistaken for Justin, an adorable Drowning soundcheck and Nick getting dressed, singing Imagine and trying to get Howie to do a Britney impersonation.

Please do not direct link to the files, or link to my journal in communities or message boards. Commenting if you download is always appreciated :)

I'll try and post some more early stuff over the weekend :)

My favourite version of Let's Have a Party is from A Night Out, but I do love that performance *g*.
