I'm a sucker for Ed the Sock and boybands.

Amusing (to me, anyway) little interview that I just got off the bsb hub, that for no apparent reason is filmed in a gym. Apparently Nick is Howie's, ahem, personal trainer. Whether A1 is a boyband or a steak sauce is discussed.

+ Nsync performing I Want You Back, 1996 - 39 meg
For turloughishere, this is a early tv performance from the guys. They're wearing the outfits from the (original) IWYB video, the tight zipper shirts. Justin's nipples are disturbingly noticeable right at the beginning (I'mgoingtohell!), there's a flash of Lance's belly (and is he wearing matching chunky necklaces with Joey?), and JC and Chris bopping away together and grinning at each other are beyond adorable. I didn't think they were singing live (common with European tv appearances) but Lance's mic sounds way up at one point.

As always, please don't link to my journal or the files on message boards and communities, don't direct link to the files, and I appreciate when you comment :) And I'm actually starting to fill up my disk space on my site (only 600 meg free from 3 gig), so some of the stuff I put up a while ago (there's a list here) is gonna start coming down.

Top five songs you'd like to hear either BSB or one Boy cover.

I'm not good at this, and I don't guarantee these would actually suit their voices.
1. Group - It's Raining Men (this applies to Nsync as well - I have deep and abiding love for the song, and am easily amused)
2. Nick - a Bon Jovi power ballad like "In These Arms", "Always" or "Bed of Roses", he could overemote his little heart out on his knees
3. Group (but AJ as lead) - "Somebody to Love" by Queen (I could have just made this all Queen songs easily)
4. Brian (with the rest as backup) - New Jerusalem
5. Kevin - so many musicals, so little time..."Anthem" from Chess.

Bonus: I would kill do many many things to hear Nsync and Backstreet sing "Bohemian Rhapsody" together.

the way they're singing to each other, they look like there's no one else in the world but them, and the lighting is incredible.


it looks like Chris has been caught in an uncharacteristically sweet moment, his affection is normally shown roughly, but here he's leaning, with that little smile. And the girl in the red top is all "get a room!"


JC has his hands between Chris's legs.


Again with the snuggling and touching, despite JC being a sunburnt lobster. JC knows better to resist when Chris gets in a manhandling mood, he just happily goes along for the ride.


With the gazing and them both being so beautiful, and I love that footage of them.

Do you hate me? That's the hardest question EVER!

Me doing this meme was the stupidest thing ever, I can't even pick my favourite Star Wars film, and there's only 6 3 to choose between.

*sigh*

Top Five Popslash Stories (right now, almost certainly guaranteed to be different tomorrow).

1. Two Straight Guys in Wisconsin by Rhys - I don't know how many times I've re-read this. It was one of the first popslash stories I read and got sucked into the fandom by.
2. Pathological by Zoicite - because I can see Nick doing this, and them all reacting like that, and the Howie/Nick is just wonderful.
3. Why Do Birds Sing So Gay by Torch - because I adore crossovers, and I adore wacky fun stories that pull off the wacky fun-ness, and I love Chris/Nick and this is good Chris/Nick.
4. The Cure by Kaneko - because this story nearly killed me, in a good way. Chris/Justin + GSF, again with wackiness, but with genuineness to the reactions and characterisation (if that makes sense).
5. Eyes to Grow Old With by Zoicite - I really wanted to pick a story that didn't involve Chris or Nick, just for something different, and by a different author, but I can't leave this one out. BSB GSF, set in a period where that seems really impossible, 2002. Brian's a family man with two families, and this story is just brilliant and makes me smile and cry at the same time.

And I'm already second-guessing this entire list, so I'm gonna stop and post now.
