Wow, the sun is actually out, I better get back outside :)

Have seen deer, chipmunks, ground squirrels, hummingbirds, elk, bald eagles, a coyote, 5 bears (all black, no grizzlies) and a wolf!!! And Mounties in dress uniform riding horses (leading Banff's Canada Day parade *g*).

Hopefully we might see whales tomorrow, on 15 hour ferry ride to Vancouver Island ::crosses fingers and toes::

I had a panicky moment where I realized that I'd forgotten to get a passport, but everyone (including the US Customs and Borders website) assures me that I'll be OK with just a drivers license and birth certificate, so I'm pretty sure I'm all set to come up to Vancouver on Sunday. I'll probably get to Vancouver around 1ish and need to go home between 7 and 8 in the evening...

I talked to stubbleglitter, lance_nerd, and chootoy, who are all Vancouverites--I'd like to meet up with them at some point Sunday, too. I was thinking it would be cool to find a central place to meet and have a baby LJ con, but I'm totally flexible--a series of coffee dates or walking around and being touristy or whatever is fine, too.

Either way sounds good to me, and I'd love to meet them too :) I'll be back in Vancouver this afternoon/evening, I'll try and give you a call/check email then, or my hotel is the Century Plaza (604 687 0575) if you want to leave a message for me (I'll be checking out tomorrow morning and going to a youth hostel, so can't be used as a meeting up place sadly, cause it's a big room and would have been good). I might go up to Stanley Park and the aquarium in the morning, so wandering around or just hanging out in the afternoon would be good.
