It's fucking hot here.

In fannish news, three funny coincidences in the last few days.

A couple of nights ago, the place I was staying at had the Sci-Fi channel, and I caught an ad for the new season of Atlantis while channel surfing. WTF? I'd heard one casting spoiler for next season, but I'm very confused now.

Last night, was on a bus ride around Vegas, and got completely distracted from all the hoopla and light shows and everything...by an ad for Backstreet's tour on a big outdoor video screen. Made me smile (and writhe a little in jealousy).

Went back to my hotel room a little while ago, to rest for a minute before checking email and getting dinner. Put the tv on, pottered around doing things, then sat down and channel surfed. Landed on VH1 during an ad break, waited a moment, and the program resumed - Celebrity Wedddings. Just as I start to think - 'hey, isn't Joey and Kelly's wedding on this soon?', some familiar music started playing. I almost squealed with delight, then I both squeed and nearly cried (damn you Joey).

Vancouver tomorrow, to start my tour through the Rockies. Hope it goes as well as this tour did, I had so much fun :)

The Rockies are gorgeous. We lived out there when I was little and I've been back once since then. Hope you enjoy!!
