My mother is adorably annoying (or annoyingly cute, I'm not sure which), so I'm currently examining other accommodation options for my first two nights in Chicago before Challenge (she'll treat me to a hotel rather than hostel, when she realised I was in a large dorm). At the very least, I'm rebooking at the hostel, cause there's suddenly 6 bed dorms available rather than 10, and well, duh. Especially as they are the same price. Have found a perfectly reasonable looking place for only $70/night, though its not quite as centrally located as the hostel, but she's not quite happy with that yet (the next cheapest I can find is Best Western for $120/night, I think not). For those who don't know my mother, she's a wee bit overprotective. And yes, I'm a little spoilt, and I won't say no to a room by myself, to get some sleep before Challenge ;) Especially as I'm in a hostel the last two nights in Vancouver, but that's only a 4 person room, so it should be fine.

Progress on my to do list is very slow. I suck. A lot.

Yeah, I just saw that you posted the performances - whee! Aren't they fabulous? The mike sharing, Nick and Kevin staring at AJ while he finishes 2 of the songs, Nick playing guitar and and and... I'm so glad everyone is going to see it :-D . Thanks Erilyn!
