Yeah, my not so subtle comment about how loud your music must be was a hint to turn it the fuck down. When I can tell what song you're listening to on your headphones, you need to get your hearing checked and/or get better headphones. I like Missy Higgins, but not so much when she's echoing tinnily while I'm trying to work.

I'm getting into Atlantis and enjoying it (I've seen up to ep 11, The Eye). I've missed watching a sf show regularly, they're such a mainstay of tv for me :) Wonder if I've got time to get hold of and watch the rest of season 1 before I go away, so I can load up heaps of fanfic on my PDA (haven't read any yet, but I know there are so many good authors in the fandom that I'm sure to enjoy it). Probably not, and I do enjoy watching it on tv, not the computer (oh for a divx capable dvd player *g*). Hmmm...

Backstreet Boys heartthrob Nick Carter enjoyed a night out with Howie Dorough at the exclusive Pangaea nightclub, London. I know the photos have been floating around, including some of AJ, but the description amused me too much not to post. As does Nick's tshirt. They've got photos from Germany at NLY too. These pictures from London amuse me too, if only that Nick appears to be saluting with a spoon.

One of Nick's exes is playing football in lingerie, and another is engaged to someone with the same first name as her. There's no connection or anything, apart from Nick's dubious taste in women. I was going to make a joke about only dating within the band from now on, except now I'm picturing Howie and AJ wearing women's lingerie. Send help. Or at least context for the thing about AJ's comments about wearing Sarah's underwear, I've seen references but never a source.

I'm the opposite with Atlantis. I've been gorging on the fic, but have only watched 2.5 episodes. :) I suspect if Sin and Claire get their hands me at Sinpoz I'll be gone.
