May. 28th, 2005 07:28 pmThe Crusaders won the Super 12, beating the Waratahs 35-25. As they were leading 28-6 at one point, the boys did well to come back that far, but it was too little too late.
The better team on theday night won, but it's frustrating as we can and have played so much better.
I'd be feeling more optimistic about our chances of building on this next year in the expanded Super 14 competition, but we're losing several key players. Nathan Grey is off to Japan, Cannon and McKay to the new Perth team, Western Force (I so want to call them the Western 4orce), and Harrison's playing in Ireland.
And he might be as ugly as sin, but damn I love Phil Waugh so much. Never gives up, and is always there.
Off to drown my sorrows in Dr Who.
