Dr Who and QAF

I watched the first episode of the new Dr Who with my dad (who was only going to watch for a minute, ha!) and sister last night.

We all loved it. He is such a good Doctor, and Sam Rose is a great companion, and the whole feel of it was so enjoyable. I grew up watching Dr Who (mostly Tom Baker, some Peter Davison, then bits and pieces of others) but haven't watched a lot of it in recent years. I thought Paul McGann was a great doctor but it was a terrible movie, so I'm so glad this one is as great as I've seen everyone saying :)

Speaking of shows I'd like to catch up, anyone know where I could find the season 5 premiere of QAF? I've tried a torrent from TorrentSpy but it isn't working for me, and the one at mybittorrent doesn't look like it's working either.

Sam? Methinks this LJ is doing Time And Relative Dimensions In Space-like things, because the new Who I watched has a companion called Rose, played by an actress named Billy. I see no Sam! *g*

I love the new Dr Who a lot, there hasn't been an episode I haven't enjoyed yet.

I'm looking for the QAF torrent too, I've one downloading but it's not working. I'll have to keep looking back here to spy on your comments :)

how about -- I don't want to get started on the processing the file down in size because I'm having some really annoying computer problems -- so I figured you could try the torrent I used first. The tracker is down but there are a *bunch* of people still sharing so it was going at a really good speed.

Isn't Rose exactly like Sam? Like, how you'd visualise her from the description in the EDAs? Or am I babbling nonsense again? ;)

I didn't even know/remember that there was a companion called Sam, I'm blamed my typo on talking to my sister while I was writing the post, but maybe that's what I was thinking of! :)

I've probably seen reference to her, but I doubt this was subconsciously influenced beyond my sister ;)
