+ AJ on CHUM FM (April 10th) - 7.5 meg
Many many thanks to
bachelor_girl for capturing and sharing this :) It's an interesting interview, and he sounds so good.
+ Jive Promo clip - 5 meg
I'm not sure where this came from or when (I got it via the Hub), but it appears to be a little promo clip from Jive about the Boys. No footage newer than the "More than That" video, but it's cute.

Date: 2005-04-12 03:49 pm (UTC)Tarzan Dan has been a Toronto radio DJ for as long as I've really listened to radio (so, 15 years). He was at 680CFTR, 640CHOG, ENERGY108.5 and KISS92.5. When he moved to CHUM, he dropped the "Tarzan" and started using his last name like a proper grown-up *g* Back in the day, he was also the original host of the Hit List and in 1996 he formally introduced the english-speaking part of Canada to the Backstreet Boys.
I have at least 4 or 5 different Backstreet interviews on tape. Dan's the upbeat, somewhat chunky guy with a shaved head and sometimes glasses.
There's the set in Montreal where they're in some empty room and the Boys are almost all in overalls.
Then the Boys on the set of the Hit List, taking video questions, singing a cappella, and suprising the hell out of a couple of early fans.
Another one in a hotel room with a view of the harbour outside where everyone but Nick breaks into something from Grease.
'Nother dimly-lit room backstage at the YTV Achievement Awards where Kevin presents Dan with a shirt from some Kentucky team.
Last one, hotel in Germany where a contest winner and 3 friends get to meet the Boys.
This was all between September 96 and February or March 97. Then, the Hit List went to hell in a handbasket and Dan went back to radio.
