I watched the pilot and first episode of Atlantis yesterday afternoon, and quite enjoyed them (though the Jack and Daniel scenes were among my favourite, I really should catch up on Stargate at some point). Hopefully I'll remember to keep taping it. So, I'm assuming Shepherd gets paired with everyone, male and female, in fic? *g*

I figured from comments around lj that McKay was the favourite character for many people, but given the pretty boy looks and the convenient interaction with most of the major characters in the first few eps, Shepherd would get a good workout *g*.

yeah, he does, but McKay kind of has chemistry with a brick wall. But he sparks the most off Sheppard. I was totally love at first snark between those two.

The pilot is about the only time you really get any Sheppard/Ford, from here on in it's all about the Sheppard/McKay. To paraphrase the whole Justin/Lance thing, Sheppard and McKay are totaly weird about each other. Wait until you see Sanctuary. Now words and no other explanation.
