Guess not watching the last 2-3 seasons of Stargate really does affect your ability to understand the beginning of Stargate: Atlantis. I really felt like I'd come in half or three-quarters of the way through something. I was surprised when the Scottish guy didn't make a McCoy "I'm a doctor not a..." joke. Jack and Daniel still amuse me though. It hasn't kept my attention tonight, but I'm taping it, so I might give it another try.

I keep wavering (when will I get another chance to do this trip? vs fuck that's a lot of money!), but going is definitely keeps winning everytime. I've got to see which travel agent can do me the best deal before I book (and I picked a long weekend to try and organise this, heh *g*).

Heh, an excellent philosophy. I've just discovered my classes finish a week sooner than I thought they did, so now I shall have to rethink the entire holiday, with another week of possible travelling time included :)
