Mmmm, looooong weekends are the best
Mar. 25th, 2005 07:52 pmI've been drinking champagne, sorry, sparkling wine (bloody French), on and off all afternoon. This was good champagne, I never used to be much of a fan, but this stuff I could keep drinking, even without peach or guava as mixers (my favourite way to drink champagne normally *g*). Funny how your tastes in food and beverages keep evolving, keeps things interesting. Thank god I finally learnt to like more vegetables than I did as a kid (ie very few). What the fuck did I have against pumpkin, seriously? Such a yummy inoffensive vegetable.
The excuse for the daytime (not gaytime, as my first attempt was) drinking was a small family lunch for Easter. We don't eat meat on Good Friday, for no real reason other than tradition and it's a good excuse to eat seafood (for the rest of the family, I'm a changling and don't like seafood).
Oh, does anyone know what was the last episode of Lost shown in Australia before the Easter break? A friend of my sister's wants some eps.
Yay, my sister has just ordered the first 3 seasons of Due South on dvd, I don't need to buy them myself anytime soon. Though technically I've bought them at the moment, as we used my amazon.ca details and credit card. Hmmm, this is dodgy ;) But its a show the whole family loves, so it's all good.
Is it wrong that I dearly hope all this BSB love and enthusiasm might translate into some good intra-BSB or crossover fic? I swear I saw someone suggest a "Backstreet's Back" challenge somewhere, I would so get behind that. I'd even say I'd try and write for it, but a) that's probably the champagne talking, and b) not a good inducement.

Date: 2005-03-25 09:47 am (UTC)Due south! I so missed that show it was like a ritual I used to share with my sister to watch it every week.
I hope it does, because I am missing the joys of bsb slash these days. No one seems to be that into it anymore. :-\
Oh and hi, I added you. :-)
