OLFC downloads

These were available at the old online fan club until it shut down when BSB split with their management. The videos include behind the scenes stuff, photoshoots, interviews, sound checks, pre-shows, following the Boys around on odd activites, and various other stuff. Some of the videos are among my favourite BSB footage (though some aren't as interesting). There's about 230 files in the whole thing (mostly wmv, some asx), 833 meg zipped. The files are organised in folders (how I got them from eponymous), and a list of all the folders and files is here. If this kills my bandwidth this month, they'll be available again in February.

Adorable pre-concert footage of the Boys teasing the crowd. Silly Boys are always fun.

I always mis-hear the lyrics to Drowning because of Brian in this clip :) There's a "guh..." closeup of Nick in a tank top, AJ's messing around (the bit with Brian is the best), Brian likes to bother his cousin during solos, Howie pulls out the waggling finger o'doom and Kevin is looking fine. Did I mention Nick and Howie are singing to each other at one point?

I have much much love for this clip, despite the Boys spending half of it in a huddle, trying to figure out what they're gonna do. I love the little bits of them actually doing musical things (such as figuring out arrangements and parts) that pop up in some of the OLFC stuff. AJ's little burst of "Get Down" always makes me laugh. As do the soundeffects for "Drowning".

Who doesn't love this clip? All Nick and Howie, at their flirtatious fun-loving best. We discover, via Nick's hands on experimentation, what Howie really tastes like, and the finger o'doom gets quite a work out.

Even soundchecks can't stop Nick and Howie nattering away. I'm always distracted by AJ's dancing little feet in this clip, so much so that I almost miss Kevin's chicken impersonation. Howie looks a bit distressed when AJ comes over to speak to Nick (that's my soundcheck thing, AJ!), but Nick is back to whispering in Howie's ear soon after. All this, plus more special lyrics from Brian.

+ backstage1-T1.wmv - Nick sings, camps it up, and is complete adorable, Howie refuses to do a Britney impersonation, AJ tries to get free stuff sent to him (and he and Brian are wearing the ugliest shirts ever).

+ brian_nose-T1.wmv - Frick and Frack forever! Brian's patience is shown with Nick's drawing of Brian's huge nostrils, complete with attempted demonstration of trying to fit things into them.

+ h_bday-T1.wmv - Howie's birthday. Singing! Hugs! Insults! Cake! Make sure you check out what's on the cake.

+ joking-T1.wmv - Filming the (second) Drowning video. AJ sings a little song about gay friends who want to rock Nick's world. The downside of bus school is revealed: the alphabet game.

+ ranch_clip-T1.wmv - Kevin and Howie have a rugged manly vacation at a dude ranch. At one point, Kevin is incredibly camp, and the innuendo is coming thick and fast.

+ tape1-T1.wmv - Filming the blindfold version of the "What's Going On" video. Let's tape Howie up!

+ boys_joking-T1.wmv
Too much fun :) On the set of the original "Drowning" video, with AJ singing the Spiderman theme, Nick taking far too much amusement in Howie's displeasure at being wet, them all being enormous dorks (especially Brian) and Howie slapping Nick's ass.

Mmm. Well, it was the eponymous one. The Backstreet equivalent of We Are 'Nsync, if you will. It's got the videos from the first album, plus some Europe interviews spliced in. The part I'm talking about is the Asian-Pacific tour they did in Oct 96. It's got news reports from all over the region, insane fans running down Orchard Road in Singapore (where they got the most footage of :D) and Brian attempting to speak Chinese. Oh! And AJ demonstrating the bounciness of a ball to Nick in the middle of a press conference.

Thanks for leaving the files up longer than you planned. I did have a slight problem getting 5 and I think 7. It stopped in the middle with those two, don't know why, but I didn't have a chance to try again. Anyway, I appreciate the ones I got. I'm going to take an evening and just watch boys. Thanks.
