first post of the year (finally, and I've still got not much to say)

fucknuckle. there was a bit of a storm so I shut the computer off, and forgot to save the draft post that was in semagic at the time. would you believe me if I said that it was the most fantastic post ever? revolutionary, brilliant, insightful and lifechanging? if you answered yes, can I interest you in a coathanger-like bridge I have for sale?

To summarise: I have a cold (but am getting better), work is busy, NYE was good (fireworks, movies, games, fun) and I have a digital camera (it's an early birthday present). Thanks for the recs and suggestions :) I ended up getting the Canon Powershot A85, which is the 4 megapixel version, as it was only $30 more than the 3.2 megapixel A75. Even though I probably don't need 4 megapixel resolution. Now I just have to figure out how to use it...

Today is the birthday of not one, but two people that I'm very glad to have on my friendslist, marrymehowie and kirsch.

I have a nice harbour-sized bridge for sale, one owner, low mileage. Good for hanging fireworks off, and for postcards *g*.

Picspam is of the good. Until I figure out the camera, I'll just have to stick with popstar photos though ;) And thanks, I like playing around with Photoshop, though I have very little idea what I'm doing *g*.

I have the A70, which is 3.2 megapixel and I love it. I beleive yours is like a newer version of mine, with more megapixels. It's easy to use once you get the hang of it.
