Is Nick getting a touch-up (or whatever they're called) in the very last picture? It looks fairly recent but I thought that shoulder was all tattooed over?

Yup, he did get something touched up or added (I'm not sure which). Howie's showing a lot of interest, maybe he'll finally give in and get a tattoo sometime ;)

He is the only untattooed one in BSB, but he can't be too much like JC, as he's had a couple of piercings in his ears at times :) Don't know if I've heard a reason for him being tattoo free...

That sounds entirely reasonable to me! And of course they have to be touching...otherwise I would be sad (and it's all about me! *g*).
