Nsync's tenth anniversary
Oct. 22nd, 2005 10:30 pmPlease don't direct link to the files, or link to my journal on message boards or communities. I was going to get this ready during the week, but yeah, that didn't happen *g*. So, not as coherent as I'd hoped, but enjoy! Warning for dialup users - lots of pictures.
Ten years ago today, Nsync did their first public performance, at Pleasure Island at Disney World. This was only weeks after Lance joined the group, and less than a year later, they would sign a record contract.

On a personal note - it was almost three years ago (in a couple of weeks) that I started reading popslash (thanks![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
hnix!). At first, I didn't know one from another (hell, I couldn't have told you if Justin Timberlake was from Nsync or BSB), and I didn't want to watch footage, I just wanted to read the fiction. There was mention of deep deep shame. Then we started to watch. And listen. And suddenly I owned cds and dvds and would get annoyed when people would say that they can't sing *g* (And one group was enough, don't bother showing me anything from those other guys...). I've seen Justin in concert, and travelled around the world to see Nsync in Chicago. I've made amazing friends, and gotten to meet some of them in person, and gotten so much enjoyment from Nsync's music and the guys themselves. Call me foolish, but I do believe that we will get more group stuff. In the meantime, bring on the solo albums and projects to support and enjoy. And here's to the next ten years.
Chris, JC, Joey, Lance and Justin - you'll never know how much I enjoy being your fan.
