Why me at work is dangerous

Me doing dull work while listening to my Zen leads to strange strange thoughts.

Like how my Zen is obsessed with certain songs. No, seriously, do other people find that their random/shuffle/whatever function on their mp3 player isn't really random? I've got over 1600 songs loaded on the Zen, but everytime I do random it brings up some of the same things. These include: BSB bootleg from Cleveland, "Qui-Gon's Noble End" from the Phantom Menace soundtrack (my player has a crush on Liam Neeson's ass? Okay), the Evita soundtrack, Plow King (from the Simpsons soundtrack), Push (Matchbox Twenty), Holst's Planet Suite and "The Homecoming Queen's Got a Gun". Meanwhile, when I poke around, I keep finding songs that I didn't even know were on here cause they never come up. Hmmm.

Also, the other side-effect is starting to plan songvids for every song that I can. A Sheppard vid to Rockstar Baby by Nick Carter would so work! A multi-fandom celebration to the MST3K song Pants! An SGA vid to The Sunscreen Marketing Board by Three Dead Trolls! Darn, there were others as well, but I can't remember them.

House photoshoot

Sometime today, somewhere on lj, someone posted the most gorgeous photos of Hugh Laurie and Robert Sean Leonard. I think it was from a magazine spread, they're very nicely dressed, rather than promo shots. I've looked and looked and cannot find them again. Help? I managed to find an amusing David Hewlett interview quote that I saw surfing arond, but no luck with the pretty pictures.

Also, I love coreopsis, because she wrote me the best line of crack - Sheppard/Carter 4 eva!!!1!

And now I'm going to bed, I have not been getting enough sleep lately. Just not quite enough, several nights in a row. Adds up. Plus, not having a heater near the computer at the moment (we blew a fuse last night, so not risking it) is definitely an inducement to go somewhere warmer.
