Worst. alarm clock. ever.
Oct. 24th, 2004 08:18 amI was hoping to sleep in a little today. Sadly, the birds around here had other plans. Just after 7am, the very loud screaming started up outside - I sigh and hope to get back to sleep soon. This isn't that unusual, we get quite a lot of the sulfur crested cockatoos around here, and they are damn noisy birds.
But the noise goes on and on, and gets louder and louder. I peek out the window, and there are quite a number of them in the trees swooping at each other and just screaming. It continues. After about ten minutes of this, I went outside. They were at war! There are bits of white feather floating around, and the noise was so loud I put my fingers in my ears. Dad and I threw some sticks up into the branches, trying to get them to go away, but mostly they ignored us. They've gone now, but it was on for a good half hour or more. The noise was unbelievable.
+ Nsync interviewing people on the red carpet - 37 meg (eta: file has become corrupted, will repost link when I've got it reuploaded, sorry)
From the 2000 Grammys (and pre-Grammys party, Clive Davies' bash?), Nysnc did red carpet interviews for Rosie's show. The party the night before the Grammys, they aren't too successful, but there are lots of cute and funny moments (JC interviewing Chris!
turps33, this is the footage I was talking about that this shot is from). At the Grammys red carpets, they manage to speak to a lot more people...but not Backstreet *g*. I love this footage :) Ripped from Nsyncland dvd #6.
ETA: And I've finally discovered how to get decent quality video from camera to computer. Of course, if I have half a brain I would have realised this months ago rather than thinking it was a software setting.
