Some random good things (aka focusing on the positive)

I have not one but three beautiful new icons, courtesy of the lovely miss hnix.

Been watching some Sentinel and Due South these last couple of months, for the first time in ages, as friends get into them. It's been great :)

I went to the opera last night with my sister, to see "The Marriage of Figaro". We got tickets only a couple of days ago on a special offer - $30 each. For front row of the dress circle, about a third of the way along ie bloody good seats. It was great, I really enjoyed it :)

People seem to be enjoying my birthday post o' Chris footage, 8 gig has been downloaded, and I've still got plenty of bandwidth for the month. I'm such a geek, deriving considerable entertainment from my website stats and most recent visitors info. The most popular files were (by heaps): the filming of the Simpsons ep and the Billboards clip. Then, a way behind, Chris doing interviews at the VMAs and the 2001 UK interview. Then a whole bunch at about the same: Live at MTV, Swedish interview, Anti-drug ad, Rosie clip with Busta, Pop Odyssey strip tease and Nsync in Japan.

Narrowly avoided poking my own eye with a spork Visted the House of Fen on Saturday, and we (along with meelie) indulged in some Lost, Veronica Mars, Stargate (first eps I've seen in ages, and they were good!), Smallville (again, hadn't seen it in a season or so, but so so so very gay, there was much squeeing in delight) and sundry other stuff. Ate far too much cheese, semidried tomatoes and salami, mmmmm...

Had a too-brief chat with iibnf (and brainwashed her into eating a kebab) when I ran into her at lunchtime yesterday *g*.

Mwahahaha! Actually, given all the different ways that they've found to somehow ingest or use kryptonite on that show, I wouldn't be that surprised to see it as a kebab filling.

Aw!! Jim and Blair! I want a Jim and Blair icon, but I've yet to find any done by the good people of icon making. And I'm shit on my own. But they are very pretty. :)

So so pretty :) And I'm not so great at the icon making, that's why I beg hnix for them, or pounce on giveaways :)
