Bootlegs and TV and websites, oh my!

It seems Not-Like-You.com has another set of HoB audio bootlegs up.

Local friends, what other places would you be able to rent a tv from for a short period, apart from Radio Rentals? This is for Sinpoz, I wanna get some quotes :)

Anyone got recommendations for webhosting places? I'm finally looking into getting my own. Dreamhost looks pretty good, if I pay a year in advance, its US$10/month for 800 meg and 40 gig bandwidth. But it doesn't have to be that much space, if it costs less.

Right, I've had a check, and it's a 34" TV, not 36", sorry. It can handle NTSC, and what are DVD connect ports? It has AV in and out. When I want to play a vid, I have the plugs in one way, and when I want to record I move the plugs the other way. What should I be looking for?

Unlike many of us, you have a car, so at least a TV can be transported if you wanted to. All my gear will be in a suitcase on wheels *g*.

I'm not aware of rentals that agree to such short term contracts. Good luck in finding one, and let me know if you do! They'd be handy to note.

Heh, I'm not good with dvd setups, but I think the normal thing is the red, yellow and white ports for the corresponding plugs on the dvd?

Yes, I do drive, but I was hoping not to drive in to the hotel, drive home again, and catch the train back in. I'd prefer to be there for the setting up, and I'd not get in til about 11 that way.

The tv we had at the last Sinpozium was rented through Radio Rentals, I talked them into a short rental :)
