A mention of JC in an Australian newspaper! The world must be ending!

Well, actually it's not ending, cause the mention is related to Paris Hilton.

In today's Daily Telegraph, in the McCabe & Matt column in Sydney Live section (music and entertainment). Typos are probably my own. Accompanied by a little picture of JC reclining in pink shirt/black jacket (one of the ones used a lot lately).

Lending a Hilton hand

N*sync member JC Chasez has failed to follow in bandmate Justin Timberlake's footsteps in the solo-star stakes.

His collaboration with Basement Jaxx, Plug It In, has met with far more success than his debut solo album, Schizophrenic.

So he has put his talents to another use: helping pal Paris Hilton with her own debut album.

"She just asked me for some input and things like that and I'm willing to give it to her," JC said this week. [Now, stop sniggering].

"She has been a great friend to me for a few years so when she wanted my ideas I threw some her way.

"Whether she uses them or not we'll see. But she's got something in store for everybody. I think everybody will be pretty surprised."

Surprised by Paris Hilton? We sincerely doubt it.

Will wonders never cease?

I wonder if it's occurred to anyone that Schizophrenic might do ok here, if it was actually ever released. Sometimes I really hate the way we just follow US trends.

I hate the Telegraph, their reviews of Justin sucked. There was another dig at him in this section, about The Offspring's gig at the Hordern, how they got such a better crowd response than Justin, blah blah blah.

The Telegraph is evil. I can ignore the reviews, but the editorals really get me in a snit. The second I see the names Piers Ackerman and Miranda Devine I start to twitch with pre-emptive rage.
