LOL. I've been posting little snippets of news I get from a backstreet yahoo groups news list. You should sign up for that if you're keen on BSB. They're very prompt with news and non spammy. However I believe most people are preoccupied with ze thread of h8! Therefore no BSB news!

Still I think the new album is going to be so cool, they're working with Boyz II Men, they're singing! Can you tell I miss them?

I've only become a fan of both Nsync and BSB during the hiatus(es?), so I'm so excited about getting to be a fan while Backstreet is active! :)

IT's great that you've become a fan of both bands when they were on hiatus, how did you get into them, if you don't mind me asking?

I adore BSB and Nsync, have ever since they first started and I was the teeniest of teens ever to be. LOL. Thank goodness I've gotten past that now but I still love them heaps. I'm hoping BSB will make a hop over to Australian sometime now, and perhaps be in cities other than Sydney!

I got into them through the slash, actually *g*. A friend hnix gave me some stories to check out, and I got hooked. For a while, I was being all silly and saying I didn't want to see footage or hear their music, I was only in it for the fic. Forward a couple of months, and I was thoroughly hooked on Nsync, especially Chris. Forward a couple more months, and eponymous showed us lots of great Backstreet footage and got us hooked on them too! Now I own all the cds, bits of merchandise gotten on ebay, and lots and lots of footage *g*. And have been in the fandom well over a year and a half, and have no desire to move on :)

Heh, I'm the opposite of you when it came to getting into the fandom. I was a huge fan of NKOTB when I was in Primary school and then I got into Take That, Boyzone, etc. Obviously it progressed into the BSBs and Nsync. I've got all the CDs, some merchandise and footage but never seen them in real life, sad to say.
