erilynFor a while, I was totally convinced that Justin's concert was June 9th. Eventually, I checked and behold, it's on the 16th. All well and good.
Except that I never realised that I'd planned stuff around it being on the 9th. Like work. Like must tell people tomorrow that I'm not available some of the time I said I would be. And handover's gonna be a pest, as I was gonna go in the Thursday afternoon before (I'm filling in for someone from next Friday). iibnf in the middle of the day. Oh well, if they can't work around me, they'll have a week's notice to find someone else. What are they gonna do, fire me?[1]
When did this all dawn on me? This evening, while I was in the shower. I really need to get back in the habit of using a diary.
[1] I'm only employed on casual basis, despite working there virtually full time in a wide variety of roles *g*.
