Although I have to admit that my reaction to Rick pretty much mirrors that of my other half, who paused behind my chair, watched for thirty seconds and said, "Who is that incredibly annoying man?"

Really? I quite enjoy his interviewing, though partly that might be that I find him so much better than the most of the MTV people. And Chris/Rick/Howie - it's my soveryshortOT3 ;)

He's better than MTV, for sure. I can't bear to watch MTV at all, because the presenters and the editing in 'interviews' makes my head hurt. It feels like it's designed for viewers who don't have an attention span long enough for a whole sentence.

So I guess I find Rick annoying, but tolerably annoying. :-)

Kinda like watching the current hosts of TRL made me almost like Carson Daly, just in comparison *g*. And Carson is a complete tool.
