Misc and Much
Apr. 24th, 2004 10:34 pmAh, our new dryer. Blessed lack of high-pitched whine and other irritating noises :)
We had a familial outing to yum cha this morning. 'Twas very nice, and the custard buns were still warm when we got them (had to ask for them and the mango pancakes, as there was no sign of the dessert cart yet). I'm off to the Waratahs vs Brumbies (Super 12 rugby) match later. C'mon the Waratahs! And as I didn't get around to posting this before we went....yee-fucking-ha! That was the most exciting game this season, and damn close too, but the Waratah's got up. Some very good play, sadly marred by lots of niggle and a fight. Huge crowd, amazing atmosphere. However, slashy thoughts should be left behind, as when a Brumbie player was getting patted on the ass for scoring a try, I snickered, then thought guilt stricken "but I went to school with his wife! bad brain!" *g*
The cat - I'm not sure what's up. Long-term is certainly not good, but still not clear on short-term. I'll hopefully found out more when we take her to the vet on Thursday to get her stitches out. Poor puss, that'll be the fourth trip in two weeks. And poor us, she's not a good car passenger.
More Rick! The rest of this appearance.
