Oh frabjous joy

I have my baby back! And now I have the Chillis theme song in my head (baby back, baby back).

Dad went and picked it up late yesterday afternoon for me (I seriously have the best dad in the world[1]), as by the time it was ready, I didn't have time to get out there and back before I went out. And they aren't open on the weekend, so we would have had to wait until Monday *g*. They replaced the video card (and now I'm trying to figure out why it's added extra options to every window...), no charge. So hopefully no more weird noises :)

Saw an interesting film at the French Film Festival with my friend K last night, "Since Otar Left". Not so much with the happy and upbeat, but I did enjoy it.

Been watching a lot of old West Wing recently, I'm almost interested enough to start downloading S5.

We should do something this weekend, particularly as calemiri is back in the country :)

[1] Did I mention that is was Friday afternoon peak hour, and the place is 30 minutes drive when the traffic is good?

Yay for getting your baby back.

As for the weekend, at least in theory I'm free from sometime this afternoon until Sunday afternoon, when we're doing the visit old friends/see the baby walk type stuff. What, if anything, suits you?

Whenever :) I'm supposed to drag Sam out swimming at some point, but she's resisting on the grounds she has a cold.

But I am, as usual, idea-less. See "Hidalgo"? I dunno.

Swimming with a cold is no fun at all... you already feel like you're drowning, why tempt fate? *g*

I'll admit that the reviews and previews for Hidalgo have not exactly inspired me to rush forth and see it, though. Sitting around talking and/or watching something easy and/or familiar does appeal.

How about I call you when I get off line and we'll see what, if anything, we feel like doing? Or someone else might save us from our indecision and suggest something. *g*
