Now that I've got that off my chest...

I'm thinking that this weekend should involve music, sitting by the pool (and swimming), some cute young thing handing me cocktails or wine amd giving me a massage. I think most of that can be managed. Oh, and Pros dvds.

I've made a spreadsheet to properly compare the postage rates from amazons us and canada. I'd worry about myself, but it's nifty! If you're curious, Canada is cheaper for cds and dvds, but more expensive for books. Of course, the real difference would be on how the prices compare, but the postage is pricey either way, so it's nice to be able to compare. US gets big points for their standard shipping being 2-3 weeks rather than 6-8.

Had a lovely day off on Wednesday. Got some jobs done in the morning, spent lovely hours giggling at footage with joeyvanne, and had dinner with her, iibnf, slashingthefox and qotfu (who I finally got to meet! And who is great! *g*) We had delicious dinner, got glared at by other patrons for no good reason (honestly!) and browsed cheap videos afterwards.

Must make space on hard drive.
Must look into networking options.
Must give eyes rest from computer.

ETA: Why won't the Schizophrenic tracks burn to an audio cd properly for me! that's twice it's failed halfway through! grrr...I wanna listen to them properly. Oh, guess it'd help if I actually had a complete file of track 8...

But don't forget that amazon.ca have, in the past, upgraded all of my shipments from the medium to superspeed.

Did you decide to order from Amazon or not? I'm tempted if the Oz release date is going to be pushed back...
