I hate David Jones and I hate Panasonic.

The new Panasonic tv was delivered by DJ's yesterday. On the second try, they brought the correct tv into the house. This should have warned us. Turned out that the box didn't contain remote or instruction manual. This was discovered after delivery guys left (and there's nothing they could have done anyway). Thus, not useable. DJ's are contacted and fail to get back to us. We're not too fussed, we'll get it done tomorrow. Actually, I was at work and told all this when I got home :) Today, dad talks to them, turns out the manager was never told yesterday of the problem (whatever).

To make a long story short (too late), they'll get a remote and instruction manual to us next fucking week (when in that week? who the fuck knows) and they've lent us the remote from the store in the meantime. The instruction manual dad and I looked at when we were there last week buying it? Gone (gone!), so we know not what we do. Plus, we've discovered we need scart adaptors for the dvd player and possibly the video.

Can someone else tape Good Morning America tomorrow in case of AJ appearance? I'm not gonna be able to :(

On the plus side, when we plugged the dvd player through the front av plugs (regular component style), the picture quality is much prettier than on the old tv. Not really a fair comparison, as the other one is 25 years old and we were running the dvd player through a adaptor/convertor, but it is pretty :)

I taped it last night and checked the tape quickly this morning, but I can't spot any AJ. I saw Charlize Theron and some other blonde as well as a bunch of Enron stuff. Is there a site to check whether he should have been on that episode or another one instead?

Ah nuts. Thanks for trying, and it's useful for future reference that they do show a day later here (which is only like a 6 hour turnaround or something, who knew they bothered showing GMA in a timely fashion? *g*)
