We could be 40 minutes away from a huge upset in the World Cup - Wales is leading England 10-3 at half time. Awesome game so far.

Go Wales! Though get rid of those stupid white patches off your jerseys.

And there's an English player whose name sounds vaguely like lugan. This is very distracting.

ETA: Fuck fuck fuck. England woke up at halftime and Wales went to sleep. Now it's 22-10 to England. I'd like to see a better ref though, England are getting away with so much crap while Wales are getting penalised all the time. Grrrr.

E(again)TA: England won 28-17, but Wales scored three tries to England's one. Oh, for Wales being able to kick better (and the ref being more competent, the guy even got it wrong about when lineout is over). Towards the end, I thought Wales might get there, but they just couldn't hang on to the ball. Damn good effort though, given that England are still favourites to win (or at least get into final, and close to being favourites with NZ).

England better play better than they did tonight if they're gonna beat France (the way they played last night) next week!

Then again, NZ will all have to spontaneously forget how to play for us to beat them next week.

Being serious (for a minute!), I agree.

England v Wales - recent years, has *always* been England.

England v France - has *never* had a guaranteed outcome.

And any of the teams in the semis could take the championship.

It's going to be interesting!

France can be their own worst enemy, though their discipline has improved a lot, so they're always hard to predict. Should be a good game. I'd definitely pick NZ ahead of Australia, though if we play better than we've played in most of the tournament, we could do ok.
