Buffy and Angel dvds

Both Ezydvd and OZ DVD Warehouse have big savings on Buffy and Angel dvds starting October 22nd. Are they re-releasing the dvds soon with more features or something? I'd love to pick up a couple of seasons for $60-80 each, but I'm very curious as to why they both have these big sales on.

Anyone know?

Hmmm...found something on aus.tv.buffy saying that they are being re-released then at lower RRP. How odd. Still curious.

I'm not sure what the dealio is but I'm getting dirt cheap x-files box sets at the same time - I pre-ordered a bajillion years ago at ezy dvd and then the release dates for the x-files got pushed back to the same date as the buffy(Oct 22nd, natch)

I figure they're about as cheap as they're gonna get at this price. Of course now I'm thinking I'm gonna kick myself if I see them cheaper in k-mart or whereever in a months time, but what the hell.

A friend of Arrch's told me ages ago to be expecting this sale - he said they were waaaay overstocked. How he got his information, and if it's the real reason, I don't know.
