Skip=300 and I think I'm caught up. Verbose bunch, aren't y'all :)

Skiing was a mixed bag. Some good snow, and some really crappy. Read four books that I've been meaning to get around to for ages, so that's definitely a plus.

I forsee lots of washing in my near future. And not much else. How terribly sad ;)

ETA: and there was an email while I was away, dvds were shipped on Monday, so I should have them early next week, yay! And the wonderful [livejournal.com profile] rhyssj answered many interesting questions, including one from me.

Green Rider by Kristen Britain, Peril's Gate by Janny Wurts (latest in her Mistwraith series), and books 4 and 5 of the Witches of Eileannan series by Kate Forsyth, which for some reason I've been putting off reading for the last couple of years. I'll read 6 this weekend and finally finish the series! :) Enjoyed them all.

Wantwantwant the new Green Rider book. Wish it was out here..

I too have been putting off reading books 4 and 5 of the kate forsyth, despite, y'know, owning them. I should read them, but I was so annoyed at what was happening to whatsername (not the twin that married the king, the other one.), that i kept putting it off..

The new book is due out in paperback in the UK in September, so it shouldn't be too long, I hope :)

I think the reason I never read book 4 (which I got as soon as it came out, and got it personalised from the author), is because the book is mostly from Finn's POV, and she's a little brat. But I got past that, and found bk 4 to be ok. Bk 5 is much better, but ends on a cliffhanger, so I must read book 6 this weekend.

And yes, Isabeau's treatment sucks.

I would have started from the beginning, but I can't find our copy of book 1. I started from four cause I thought I had read it, but I was wrong *g*. And I was a little confused about some stuff.
