Eli Gold has a tumblr dedicated solely to to reblogging any Peter/Alicia pictures he can find with tags like "a love for the ages" and "made for each other".

You know it's true.

MFY and you just know that he's not above also reblogging the ones which are subtly photoshopped too.

Trufax - he has an intern who does the photoshopping in the first place.

Interesting. For comparison, you might want to check out http://www.ticomputers.com.au/pdtDetailList.asp?grp=pdt&pdtid=TIW0070

Lot of similarities, though for $1280 instead. Biggest differences I can see (apart from brands) is that your quote includes twice as much RAM, and MS Office, while the TI one had another TB of hard disk and a dvd/blu ray drive (I'm not sure I'd have need for a bluray drive).

I'm still trying to catch up on the current state of home computing :)

I asked for big ram and good graphic card, but he hasn't included the keyboard I specified.

I have no need for bluray, I haven't purchased any DVD other than Sherlock for many years.

I'd like the extra hard drive, but then again, I have 3TB external in use. Be nice to be able to put those onto back up duty instead...

I'm not an claiming any expertise, just thought it made for an interesting comparison so you could get an idea of the value for money of the quote you received. The one I linked to was recommended in one of the mags I picked up, and they described the graphics card as decent, "which will handle any game".

I'm thinking of getting a quote from TI, but without monitor (I'm fine with my 20inch, it's newer than most of the rest of the computer), without wireless adaptor (got one), without tv usb, normal dvd instead of combo drive, but with MS Office and new speakers.

By the way, the two quotes include the same graphics card (GeForece GTX560), it looks like.
