Saw Fast and Furious 5 today with shinetheway, had a lovely long gabfest for hours, then came home and watched new Dr Who. A+++ Easter, I must say.

Oooh, intriguing. Have we seen the final ultimate no-coming-back death of the Doctor? HAHAHAHA not fucking likely.

Excellent start, though am a little concerned about Amy being pregnant (which thought was gonna be the case, then when River felt sick I thought not, so hopefully she isn't pregnant TOO) because that kind of puts a timelimit on the Ponds being companions. While I like River, I hope she isn't in the whole season, I think she's best used sparingly. Plus could have done without the whole anvilicious conversation between her and Rory (why did the Doctor have to impress her when she was younger and naive? couldn't they have met as more equals? bah). And there was NO need for TWO "Doctor Who?" jokes.

I knew the #1 letter was going to be a for as past Doctor, it had to be, but I couldn't help but think (hope), when they said "who does the Doctor trust most?" that it was gonna be Jack. THEY'RE IN AMERICA. NEW TORCHWOOD IS IN AMERICA, I THINK (AT LEAST PARTIALLY). IT MADE A LITTLE SENSE, OK.

TIME CAN ALWAYS BE REWRITTEN.

Part of me likes the whole TRAGEDY~ of how the first time the Doctor meets River Song she is devastated that he doesn't know her at all (and also her death), but part of me is going "Really, Moffat? FUCKING REALLY?!" Can't we have a fucking kick-ass female Companion for once not even a little bit in love with the Doctor? I AM SO SICK OF HIS WHOLE "Oh this female character is awesome and she keeps the Doctor in line" when really SHE'S STILL FOLLOWING HIM AROUND WHENEVER HE CALLS LIKE A PUPPY.

He's starting to do this again in Sherlock and I AM NOT FUCKING HAPPY.

I kept thinking that Amy and River were impregnated with alien embryos or something, and that's why they kept on feeling sick.

THIS SHOW NEEDS MORE JOHN BARROWMAN.

They said there would be naked Matt, which there was, but not in the form I was expecting. MY FEELINGS, THEY HAVE BEEN CHEATED.

Jack on Who >>>>> Jack on Torchwood, which is why I wanted to see him so much. I'm torn (since Jane Espenson is involved) but am so far still standing firm that I won't watch new Torchwood.

Ahahahahaha, I feel your pain, but must point out that this is why I try to avoid spoilers - no expectation to disappoint ;)

DONNA IS THE BEST COMPANION EVER AND IT IS A FUCKING TRAGEDY AND SHAME THAT SHE CANNOT COME BACK UNLESS SOME MAJOR FUCKING AROUND WITH THE TIMESTREAM/HER HEAD IS DONE.

I still haven't managed to get through all of Torchwood, mostly because I want to stab Gwen in the head all the time!

Beh, I'll just have to watch Christopher and His Kind again for naked Matt kissing boys. :D

I hope Amy just thinks she's pregnant because the aliens are making her sick, because I will TOS the universe if she leaves. I love River, but I love Eleven/Rory/Amy bff time, so I hope she's around for a bit, but not every ep, because it changes their dynamics a lot.
