I like Gaga's Born This Way ok, I've listened to it at work a number of times in the last few days and its grown on me (my first impression was a bit meh, and I'm a little iffy on some of the lyrics - just cause it kind of rhymes doesn't mean you should put it in your song). I certainly don't love it though, and I thought it sounded rather...generic.

And Cheeks goes to show just how many songs it does sound like (some scarily alike, others are a bit of a reach).

I was certainly hoping for more than it is. Pity it didn't come out 7-10 years ago - would have been perfect as thumpa thumpa music in Babylon on Queer as Folk.

Born This Way = not Gaga's best work. Still don't hate it. And I've been kind of annoyed by all the fuss about it sounding like Express Yourself. That vid was very entertaining though.

I think I like that arrangement than the actual release of Born This Way (which sounds like a generic dance remix of itself).
