I have some exciting (for me) news - I'm going to South America in Sept/Oct for about 3.5 weeks, with my sister! Major things are Machu Picchu, Galapagos Islands, Amazon rainforest, Iguazu Falls and finish off with two nights in Buenos Aires.

Also, I'm going to see William Shatner give a talk. iibnf and I figure its like a fannish rite, like seeing the pope or something, because as half of K/S, he has been kinda important in shaping fandom :) Plus, it's William fucking Shatner, this ought to be very entertaining, in an insane way.

Anyway, the picture that has amused me the most recently is this:

Also, the most hilarious songvid I've seen lately is this combination of Glee and The Little Mermaid trailer. It's so well done, even if you don't really care about Glee, you should check it out :)

True, though there was some discussion about her heels were quite different in those photos too ;) And people can shoot up in bursts, but if I didn't know, I would think there'd have to be at least 4 years between those pictures.

Oh, he's definitely grown, it is just by how much that its harder to say. Especially when everyone looks tiny next to Cory. I even thought he was looking taller than Darren (by more than previously) in the most recent ep, but again, could be shoes/angle. I do like that Blaine isn't bigger than Kurt :)

Blaine/Darren is pretty frikking tiny, but that said, now that Kurt's at Dalton, I would assume the height of the costume heels would be consistent....

We're not going to the con (didn't know about it til after), we're seeing him at the equally expensive event at the State Theatre (I'll be horribly judgemental and say I would prefer it this way, hopefully there'll be less possible cringe-inducing interaction moments. Fans have put me off cons.)

I've seen him brush off comments about dating etc with remarks about being single forever, which better either be shyness/desire for privacy (perhaps coupled with their insane work schedules), otherwise I have lost all faith in the gay male population of Los Angeles!

I can't wait til September! Except for our poor timing in that we'll be away for a big chunk of the rugby world cup :)

I'm genuinely not sure. :( If I can come, it'll have to be a "arrive Friday evening leave Sunday night" job since I have no time off available to me until October, so mostly I'll just be keeping an eye out to see if cheap-enough flights come through. Otherwise; sadface. :( But next year I plan to not be an asshole with my holidays and therefore I might actually have some days off available in 2013? Heh. OH GOD BEING AN ADULT.
