erilynLance surprising Gabourey Sidibe on Leno made me so so happy (and made me a fan of Gabourey).
I just sat through a fairly tedious episode of My Family (a show that was never brilliant but was certainly much better in its earlier seasons) to watch John Barrowman play The Doctor (and as a bonus, there was a cute little pig). Fandom - it just does things to our brains.
If I took a representative sample of the last bunch of pictures I've saved, my deep fannish desire would look like a NCIS:LA/Glee/Adam Lambert/MCR crossover.
And I totally would read and/or watch that, or any combination thereof. (Adam Lambert on Glee is an actual rumoured possiblity - hope its good if it does come about.)
Though actually, MCR on Glee would tickle me pink! For some reason they are there, and everyone expects these rock dudes to make fun of glee clubs but then Gerard would be all :DDDD and telling the kids how inspiring they are and lecture them endlessly about being individuals and blah blah blah (oh god, I've turned Gerard into Mr Schuester!) and Ray would talk guitars with Artie, and Frank would be like "my dog likes to do the Single Ladies dance!" and then there'd be a fun cover version of an MCR song - but I can't think of one that'd be appropriate for Glee...Teenagers? Ghost of You?
