thanks to the ATO website for my inappopriate lolz of the day. the article had nothing to do with what I was actually searching for, but I had to have a quick read anyway.

though it didn't make up for having a co-worker pull the "it was only a joke, duh" line on me when I got angry at him saying "M might be interested [in Kanye West tickets], he has lots of n***** friends". It's bad enough they all use gay as a synonym for shitty constantly, but I was in total shock when he said that.

Whenever people something call something 'gay' for 'crap', I always say, "Urggh. That's so hetero!"

I'm still shocked. I think he meant it in some sort of attempt to use hip hop-esque language, rather than in some outright racist way, but it was still incredibly inappropriate.
