hnix and I got rockstar parking spots right near the venue. Also, cats (running around campus).

* My foot coped very well.
* However, I seriously overestimated my own ability to deal with a crowd, and retreated early on from the middle of the scrum. Had a great view from just a bit further back instead, and could BREATHE.
